American Fluffy Pancakes

Fluffy American pancakes with hazelnut spread and strawberries

  • 300 g milk
  • 55 g melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 185 flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt1
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • +Loacker hazelnut spread
  • Milk spread
  • Chocolate sauce I made it from some melted chocolate and condensed milk, but you can make a ganache-use the same amount of whipping cream and chocolate that you melt in the cream



  • Mix the milk with melted butter, egg and vanilla extract. Add the flour with baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix well, until combined.
  • Put some butter, or oil on a pancake pan and heat it up. Pour some batter on the pan to make small, round pancakes. Flip it over when big bubbles start to form on the surface, bake the other side for a few more seconds and remove from the pan.


  • Spread some hazelnut spread on the first pancake, put another pancake on top and spread this one with a milk spread, then add some strawberry slices. Repeat as many times as you want. Pour the top with a chocolate sauce and decorate with a strawberry.
