This is another attempt at making something with walnut and coconut combo that would be as good as the birthday cake I had when I was little. You know the memories of all the sweet things you ate as a kid when everything you tried was like wow 🥰.
So nostalgic 😊

This one is in my fav pastry style - french pastry. With lots of different elements:
Cocoa sable with coconut
Walnut financier
Coconut ganache
Walnut chcolate crispy
Coconut bavarian crean
Velvet spray and a touch of gold leaf 💛.

I'm not done with this combo as I think it holds so much potential. Have you ever baked something with a coconut walnut combo?

These White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies are.. so so good, so gooey and so delicious 😳. This must be one of my favorite combos!

The recipe is old on the blog but I re- shooted them so here are the new pics and .. enjoy the recipe! They are crispy at the edges but chewy and gooey in the middle with a really nice crunch and flavor. Inspired by Ben's cookies that I had once and I loved them so much 😍

Wohoo people, after 8 tests (I think?) we are finally happy with the Brookies 🥳😅. Fudgy, gooey chocolate brownie with a browned butter choc chip cookie on top, now that's some serious deliciousness 🤤.
.
It's the type of dessert that you need a small bite and you are good! But then you can't stop and eat more🙄. Oh well. I really love this combo of a fudgy brownie and a crispy cookie, it's such a great textural combo.
.
Btw. Serve it with a scoop of ice cream and you've won at life! 😍 Really balances out the heavy dense dessert perfectly. I tried to make it with less sugar like I always do but.. cookies and brownies are the two things that really need sugar for not only sweetness but also texture. I will try to write the recipe today (ha), and there I'll be talking more about the science and process of this simple and basic dessert but.. those are the hardest to nail!

Now look at that bite again and drool cuz I think I need a pause from chocolate desserts 😂.

These are thin, chewy in the midle and crispy around the edges with tart ruby chocolate flavor throughout 🍪😍.

Ruby chocolate is tart and tastes like a berry chocolate per say. These cookies have plenty of chocolate so you can really taste it. They are also the cookie base for my cookie sandwich ice cream!

There are a few other ruby chocolate recipes on the blog so you can check that, in the mean time I'm gonna test some black cocoa choc chip cookies 😍. How good does that sound?

My Poppyseed, Lemon and Tarragon little cuties 💛. To this day this is one of my favorite desserts that I made. There is a moist poppy seed sponge, tangy lemon curd and a fresh tarragon bavarian cream. It all goes so well together so I really hope you like them! The recipe has been on the blog for a while :).

Hadn't had the time to shoot something new with edible flowers, but I think it's pretty apparent I love using them in desserts! I have so many in the garden and I love using them for simple but stunning decorations.
